Apparently that’s how many people the transit agency I work for moved for the Blues celebration last weekend. I wish I didn’t have to work that weekend because it sounds like it was quite a party. And unlike other cities we didn't seem to have riots or try to burn down the city.

No kidding. It was so nice to be proud of STL. Not 1 arrest the night of the win or the parade. And only 1 person officially puked, sounds like a great party!

I was so proud of my adopted hometown. Much better than Mardi Gras in Soulard where the partiers take up all the parking in my neighborhood, loiter in my yard and piss on the side of my house...

kind of strange to realize that both Toronto & St. Louis had enormous championship parades/parties, and the shooting was in Toronto.

Exactly. And you would expect fistfights in a hockey celebration since that seems to be a fun and common part of the game, yet there weren’t any. All this in a city known for having one of the highest homicide rates in the country. Bizarre...

Mardi gras is literally the worst. Went twice, and never again.

I am still over the moon that Boston blew it.
